Actually LOLing

I have been listening to and loving this podcast since it started and I was single. Now I’m engaged and I think I love it even more. Jared and Jordana have really hit their stride in the last year or so with their chemistry and comedy. I genuinely laugh out loud every single episode and I love the inside jokes they’ve developed. Also, they really try to do right by the listeners, giving the honest truth even when it’s hard or “icky.” I think their conversations are very nuanced so even their hottest takes land well. Keep doing what you’re doing, you’re a bright spot in my day!

J&J have become JJ favorite thing to listen to! I look forward to the weekly episodes and hearing different dating stories. And the dynamic between Jordana and Jared is just so great. I love their honesty when it comes to topics and their vulnerability! Just subscribed to benefits and I’m even more hooked. Keep up the good work!

Faux Pas or nah?

Love the podcast! It always keeps me entertained on my commute to work and I have listened in various stages of dating. I have to say the Faux pas or nah game is still really confusing and not as fun as res flag or deal breaker. I get that you want to promote the drink but can you promote the drink separately and then to back to playing red flag or deal breaker? Thanks

Consistently favorite podcast

I’ve been listening to J&J for at least three years now and still love the pod as much as I did at the beginning. I’m even married now and still love listening to these dating stories unfold. I particularly love the Sunday special - this week’s (4/16) episode felt like I was at the brunch table with friends. Thanks for all that you do Jared and Jordana!

My favorite podcast

Love listening on my walks—I’m probably known around the neighborhood as the weirdo who’s cackling on the sidewalk 3x a week. Their dating/pop culture rants are so hilarious without being icky/blamey. Love the hosts, especially Jordana (hi Jordana!!). Her advice is always exactly what I’m thinking. And the benefits episodes are worth it! Subscribe!

My fav podcast

Updated 4/15: I’m a subscriber and just listened to the Sunday episode and it was the BEST. Tell Julia thank you for sharing her story with us! i honestly have no idea what the negative reviewers are talking about. Been a long time listener and I love the different perspectives that Jordana and Jared bring to the table in this podcast. They challenge each other and also their viewers to think about things differently. When I started listening in 2018, I would take dating so seriously and be so disappointed every time a situation shop didn’t work out. After listening to this podcast, it helped me approach dating in a different way and it helped me as I entered a new relationship with my now current boyfriend of 3 years. Jared even responded to my dm about advice for our second date! This show is so helpful and interesting even if I have never been in the situation they are describing, it helps me feel more connected and think about issues outside my relationship and how I can approach things from a new perspectives thank you, J & J!!

Editing my review to leave a Seder comment

I LOVE the little dive into Seder (latest ep) for the Catholic community - I worked a catering event at a local synagogue for Seder and literally was blown away at all of it (first time experiencing it). But I am laughing because I was so confused by the two hour window of nobody eating because of the prayers/songs. I would absolutely famish!!!! Thank you for the laughs and the Jewish insights for making a catholic girl understand your religion on a personal level!!!

Funny and relatable

Hi jordana!! Great podcast - I like the email questions bc many are relatable about ghosting, mixed signals etc. appreciate how jordana challenges Jared about topics and brings a strong female perspective. Agree w others about Jared’s random singing and some vulgarities (study abroad question) I subscribe on and off to benefits and do really enjoy the more personal honest vibe it gives. Good listen for all currently in modern dating! Edit: agree w others that Jared needs therapy. I was very surprised at what he thought it was. Goes around in circles saying he has no problem with matches, “what a problem to have” but never goes past a first date. He really needs more self awareness. Jordana I know you are helping to call him out but sometimes it tough to hear his rants

It is absurd how on “Jordan’s” benefits episode, Jared does majority of the talking. He asks her a question, doesn’t let her speak and then answers it himself. No self-awareness.

Thanks for teaching my son to talk!

I’m a happily married teacher (Jared you are correct in your decision to not date us) with a 7 month old baby. I’ve been listening for years, since I left my last relationship. I listened to this podcast while pregnant and while breastfeeding in the early newborn days, and I cherish being able to listen in the car while my baby can’t learn swear words yet. But now he’s so used to J&J’s voices that he starts babbling whenever Jared starts talking! He thinks he’s conversing with you guys and I love it. Love you guys and this pod, I laugh at every episode and have for years.

Love the Pod and a Request!

First, love the pod so much - I find the advice really helpful. I see some criticisms of Jared in the reviews but as a single 38 yr old woman navigating the apps post divorce, I find him very relatable and appreciate that you have someone in their late 30s who is single. I’m guessing there are a lot of us that do but just aren’t big reviewers :) On to my request! I’m getting on board with the YouTube channel but I’m also a podcast subscriber. So I get the Sunday podcasts early and want to listen but then I won’t go watch the YouTube epp once comes out since I’ve already heard it. Not sure if it’s an option but would be great if there was a paid subscription for YouTube so we can get those early too.

Flight Attendant SOS Episode … Yikes

Love the pod and am an avid listener/subscriber but my god that last SOS episode was infuriating. The woman is 28-years-old and can’t just admit she likes the dude. She wasn’t receptive to any of the different options J&J provided for dealing with the situation, like why even write in/come on the show at all? Big yikes
